“I am very pleased about the opening of the new BioNTech site in Rwanda, the partner country of Rhineland-Palatinate. BioNTech SE is opening the company’s first African site and one of the most advanced mRNA vaccine production facilities in the world in Kigali,” said Minister President Malu Dreyer today in Mainz on the occasion of the opening.
